Getting back to normal

I apologize for not being a litle more diligent with my blogs.  I have been busy for the last few months with my family.  About two months ago I did a family photo shoot on the beach.  I sat down and started editing pictures and such and then i got a call from my family in Georgia telling me my dad had a stroke.  I am 400 miles away from him, so, I drop what I am doing and leave to go up.  I was on this emotional rollercoaster for about a month.  The doctors thought my dad had brain cancer and then a brain tumor and then they thought he was,in the last stages of cancer with only a couple months to live.  Finaly after a battery of tests and thousands of needle pricks later they have come to the conclusion that he had had a thing called a brain abscess.  I have never heard of such a thing.  He is in rehab still with high hopes he will be getting out and coming home soon,  He just wants to go home and I feel so bad for him because he is stuck there.

I have since come back to Naples and tried to get busy with my photography.  I am going to post some pictures of the family I photographed before I left to go to Jacksonville.  This family was a Joy to work with and anytime they need anything photographed again I will do it without any hesitations.  Its nice to have a laid back family and everyone feel comfortable around each other.  This family also extended a warm welcome and invited back to their home to photograph some candid moments with their precious grandson. Please enjoy some of the photographs from their session.
